Here's my entry for :iconstriffle:'s November art jam, a big race between lots of Original Characters.

My good old Dirk Orbman is just strolling along, whistling a merry tune, because he's too cool to run (or at least he thinks he is!)

For those of you unfamiliar with my character, Dirk is a 50's style private eye in my "Mobsters with magic" idea. He got on the wrong side of a mob enforcer and had his head replaced with an orb :)

I believe the story was that his face was stolen and he is searching for it and for revenge, not as you said that his head was replaced by an orb. ;)

Hey, when your face is stolen, it automatically gets replaced by something. Everybody knows that ;)

Hey, I think it's funny that this guy is the only one strolling along... but there is another thing that makes him stand out. You should throw some color on that bad boy! I noticed that you don't usually work in color but give it a try. Even just flat colors on his clothes would complete him nicely, I think.

I am actually experimenting with colours for my next deviation though!
